Central Electricity Supply Utility of Orissa (CESU), a leading Power Distribution Utility engaged in the distribution of electricity approximately with 9 lakh consumers spread over in eight revenue districts in the State of Orissa, invites applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Management Trainee (Graduate Engineer, Electrical).

01.            Qualification:             The candidate must be a citizen of India having Degree in Electrical Engineering with at-least 60% marks in the qualifying examination from a Recognized University / Institution. The passing of Oriya Language Test equivalent to ME Standard is essential. Basic knowledge in computer operation is preferred. Preference shall also be given to the candidates having experience in Power Distribution Sector.

02.       Job Profile:                        This is a challenging job which includes maintenance of lines and substations in the distribution network from 33KV lines to LT distribution, commercial activities of the Utility including energy audit, loss reduction, customer care and also material management. His continuance in the organization will depend on successful achievement of the above parameters based on targeted milestone.

03.       Age:            The candidate should be above 21 years of age and below 32 years of age as on 01.03.2007.  

04.       Approx. Requirement : 25 nos.

            The eligible candidates shall be required to appear at written examination / personal interview at their own cost, the date and venue of which shall be intimated in due course. On selection, they shall be appointed as Management Trainees for a minimum period of one year. The training period may be extended for another six months to one year, if his performance is found unsatisfactory. During the training period, they shall be paid monthly-consolidated stipend @ Rs.6150/-                           

            On successful completion of Training, they shall be placed in the Pay Scale of Rs.6500-225-11,000/-  in E-3 Grade with D.A, H.R.A, Medical Allowance and other perquisites as per Rules of the Utility..

Applications in the following format neatly typed or hand written and duly filled in along with attested copies of certificates and mark sheets (starting from Matriculation on wards), documents in support of relevant experience,  two attested passport size recent photographs (one to be pasted on the application form), two self addressed stamped envelopes (25cms x 11 cms size), should be addressed to “The Chief Executive Officer (Operation), Central Electricity Supply Utility of Orissa , IDCO Tower (2^ND Floor), Janapath, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, Pin – 751022”.  The name of the post applied for should be super-scribed on the top of  the envelope containing the  application form.  

The Last Date of receipt of application is 09.04.2007. The applications received after due date or in incomplete shape shall not be entertained. The Management reserves the right to short list the number of applicants in order of merit and also reserves the right to accept/reject any application on the basis of  prescribed criteria.
