SHORT  TENDER CALL NOTICE

          Short Tender Notice No. CESU / H.Qrs. / PUR / A&C / 287 / Vol - I / 44572 Dt 17.12.07  
         
For and on behalf of CESU, the undersigned invites Sealed tenders in duplicate ( Two separate envelops ) duly Superscribing the Tender No. & Due Date of opening from reputed Re - processing Units // Manufacturers only for re - processing & supply of the following materials as per the schedule below.

1 Reclaimation of EHV Grade Transformer Oil , confirming to IS : 335 of 1993  K.L. 350   26,000.00 02.01.08 at 1 P.M. & 3 P.M.

TERMS & CONDITIONS : -         
         
1 The offer should contain all the technical details with Brouchers , Past Supply // Work experience , Valid ITCC , PAN No., STCC , VATCC & EMD.
         
2 The offer should be accompanied with EMD in shape of D.D. in favour of CESU payable at Bhubaneswar failing which the the offer shall not be considered. No previous deposit with us shall be adjusted for EMD. The EMD shall be forfeited if the order is not executed.
         
3 The offer should contain all the Commercial details including the Unit Price for Ex - factory , Packing & Forwarding , Excise Duty , VAT , Entry Tax , Freight & Insurance . Lastly the unit Landing cost at our Stores Depot at Choudwar // Bhubaneswar is to be submitted. The prices are to be Firm. The reclaimation is to be done at least 30 to 40 K.L. within 60 ( Sixty ) days from the date of lifting of old oil & any deviation in execution shall attract penalty of  0.5 % per week subject to maximum of 5 %. 
         
4 For each lot , the pre despatch inspection shall be done by the Purchaser or Authorised representative and then the barrels shall be sealed. Further the random sample of reclaimed oil as per IS shall be collected in a 5 Ltrs bottle & sealed jointly. This shall be submitted for testing at any Govt. Testing Laboratory for testing at Reclaimer (Supplier)'s cost. On receipt of acceptable test results from Laboratory , the despatch instructions shall be issued from this office.
         
5 The percentage Loss in recovering the good oil is to be mentioned.
         
6 The Re - processsing unit must have been registered with Ministry of Environment & Forests ( MOEF ) // Central Pollution Control Board ( CPCB )  , New Delhi & have obtained Authorisation for Management & Handling of Hazardous Waste from the respective State Pollution Control Board. The  required valid Certificates must be submitted alongwith the offer or else the offer shall not be considered.
         
7 Before lifting of old // used Transformer Oil from our Stores , the Firm has to submit the Security Deposit @ Rs 30,000.00 per K.L. ( i.e. Rs 12,00,000.00 for 40 K.L. ) in shape of Bank Guarantee en - cashable at Bhubaneswar // Cuttack. This shall be returned after completion & return of reclaimed oil etc. at our Stores.
         
8 The performance B.G. of 10 % of the Contract Price is to be submitted with validity up to 18 months from the last date of delivery. Further / the required extension of validity must be submitted before one month of expiry. Or else the performance B.G. amount shall be deducted accordingly from each bill & this shall be released after completion of Guarantee period.
         
9 The reclaimed oil shall be guaranteed to retain the permissible value for a period of 18 months from the date of delivery or 12 months from the date of actual use , whichever is earlier. If any defect is noticed during the above period , you shall replace the equivalent quantity of the defective material free of cost. 
         
10 In case of any dispute arising out of the P.O. , the jurisdiction of the court will be Bhubaneswar. Neither party should go out of this place to decide in the matter.
         
11 Full payment will be released within 30 days from the date of receipt of materials at our Stores subject to production of Composite P.B.G. of 10 % of each consignment , approval of GC & TC.
         
12 No Telegraphic or Fax tender will be accepted.
         
13 The Tender is to be submitted by 1 P.M. of due date of opening & shall be opened on the same day at 3.00 P.M. The offer is to be valid for 90 days from the date of opening.
         
14 The Authority reserves the  right to increase or decrease the quantity // distribute the quantities among tenderers & the right to accept all // any tender or reject the tenders  without assigning any reason there of.
